About

Hassle Free Media LLC is the parent company. Hassle Free Reviews is the operating company beneath it. Everything else follows from that one distinction.

The structure

Hassle Free Media LLC holds the entity, the infrastructure and the editorial standards. It does not itself publish. It exists so that the businesses under it can share a spine: one set of operating rules, one publishing pipeline, one bar for what counts as evidence.

Hassle Free Reviews is the operating company. It buys, tests and reviews consumer hardware, primarily for the home and kitchen, and publishes the results across written and video formats. It works in product lines rather than single units, because the question most people actually have is not is this good but which one of these five should I buy.

AI In The World is the publication arm, covering how artificial intelligence is arriving in ordinary businesses and ordinary households. It is the one place where the company writes about itself, because the company is a working example of the subject.

Why a holding company

Because the expensive parts of a media business are not the publishing. They are the testing discipline, the distribution relationships and the operational scaffolding underneath. Built once at the parent level, those carry to every property we launch. The alternative is rebuilding the same machinery for each brand and calling the duplication growth.

How we work

The company is organized into functional departments rather than around individual people, each with a defined charter and a written operating contract. Work moves between them along a fixed route, and every decision of consequence is recorded where the next person can find it.

This is more structure than a company our size strictly requires. We think it is the reason a company our size can cover what it covers. The departments are listed here.

On independence

We buy most of what we test. Where a product is supplied by a brand, we say so on the review itself. No brand sees a review before it publishes, and no brand has ever been given approval over a conclusion. A supplied unit that performs badly gets a bad review, which is the only arrangement under which a good review is worth anything.
